Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult experiences a family can face. At Honor Pet, we believe that every pet deserves a peaceful, dignified farewell, and every family deserves to be supported with grace and compassion during their final moments together. As your partner in care, we are dedicated to "building better goodbyes" through clinical excellence and heartfelt support.

Clinical Leadership You Can Trust

The foundation of Honor Pet is built on expertise and empathy. Our team is led by Dr. Shea Cox, our Chief Veterinary Officer and Founder. As a recognized pioneer in veterinary hospice and end-of-life care, Dr. Cox has spent over a decade focusing exclusively on improving the way families experience these difficult transitions.

Joining her is Dr. Scott Cox, an end-of-life care veterinarian with over 20 years of experience. A 2001 Michigan State graduate, Dr. Scott is known for his gentle demeanor and highly organized approach, ensuring that every appointment—whether in a home or a clinical setting—is handled with the utmost calm and respect.

Tailored Services for a Peaceful Goodbye

We understand that every family has different needs when it comes to saying goodbye. To accommodate these preferences, we offer two primary paths for euthanasia services:

  • In-Home Euthanasia ($500): For many, the comfort of home is the best place for a final farewell. This service allows your pet to remain in their favorite spot, surrounded by familiar sights and smells, while you and your family grieve in private.
  • In-Center Euthanasia ($275): For those who prefer a clinical setting or need immediate availability, we offer our thoughtfully designed Comfort Center in DTLA. This space was created specifically to provide a serene environment for overflow appointments and referrals, ensuring you never have to compromise on the quality of care.

Please note that these prices exclude Aquamation services.

Why Choose Honor Pet?

At Honor Pet, we don't just provide a service; we provide a partnership. We know that the bond between a human and a pet is sacred. Our mission is to honor that bond by providing a calm, supportive environment where you can focus on what matters most: celebrating the life of your companion and saying goodbye with peace of mind.
